Use your own photos in your articles
Articles can use real photos of your work: found on your website or uploaded by you. You can change or remove any of them.
- 1
Open Images in the left menu.
- 2
Under How your articles get pictures, choose Your photos, then an AI illustration (the default for new accounts is the branded cover, so this is opt in).
- 3
Click Find photos on my website, or Add photos to upload your own. PNG, JPG or WebP, at least 800 pixels wide.
- 4
Open any article and look at Images on the right. Click Change to pick a different photo, or Use branded cover / No photo here to remove one.
How we choose. Each photo is described once (for example, crew carrying a couch out of a house) and matched to the article's title and headings. Photos of a specific job are only used when the article is about that job. Photos of your team or truck can go anywhere. Photos used less so far win ties, so your library spreads across articles.
What goes where. Every article gets one cover photo, and longer articles get one or two more inside. The cover is also the picture shown when the article is shared and by search engines. Short articles get only the cover.
If nothing fits. With Your photos, then an AI illustration, we make one simple flat illustration for the cover (never a fake photo of your work, and never with text or people). With Your photos only, we use the branded cover with your logo instead. We never create images in that mode.
Photos from your website are only fetched when you click the button, once a day at most. Logos, icons and graphics are skipped. You can remove any of them whenever you like.
WordPress and GoHighLevel. The cover is sent as the post image, and inside photos are placed in the article. If you change a photo on an article that is already live there, it updates the next time the article is published.
