Your hosted blog: preview link, sitemap, RSS, robots
Where your articles live, before and after DNS, and the technical extras that come free.
Every account gets a hosted blog. Before you connect your domain it's at a preview address (you'll see it under Site & publishing and on every article). After Check DNS verifies, it's at blog.yourdomain.com and search engines are told to index it.
Included automatically:
- Sitemap at /sitemap.xml so Google finds every article.
- RSS feed at /rss.xml for anyone who subscribes.
- robots.txt that says "index me" once verified, and "don't index" while it's only a preview.
- Structured data (schema) on every article so search engines and AI assistants understand it.
- A header linking back to your main site and your call to action on every page.
You don't need to do anything with these; they're here in case your web person asks.
