Results: what each section shows and why a number may be missing
A plain summary of what we published, how Google responded and whether AI assistants noticed, using only what can be measured.
What it is. A plain summary of what has happened since your first articles went live: what we published, how Google responded, and whether AI assistants noticed.
Why we show it. SEO takes weeks to show, so it is easy to wonder whether anything is happening. This page answers that honestly. It shows what changed, not what caused it, and it leaves out numbers it cannot measure yet instead of showing a zero.
Where the numbers come from.
- What we did: Our own records: articles published, and older ones refreshed in the last 90 days. Live.
- What moved in Google: Google Search Console: how often your pages were shown, clicked and where they appeared over the last 28 days, against the 28 days before. Synced daily. Google's data runs about 2 days behind.
- Who noticed: Our monthly AI check, and visits to your articles that came from an AI assistant. The check runs on the 1st. Visits are counted daily.
- Where your articles rank: Our own weekly check of Google. For the keyword each article is written for, we look through the top 100 results and note where your site appears. We search as a person in the United States, so a local search can look a little different on your own phone. Every Monday. It compares each keyword with the week before.
- Recent activity: Our own log of publishing and milestones. Live.
If it looks empty.
- Google has not shown your pages yet: That is normal in the first few weeks after an article publishes. It appears here the moment it happens.
- It says we are still connecting your blog to Google: Search Console connects on its own once your blog address is live and verified.
- Where your articles rank says not in the top 100 yet: That is the normal state for a new article. Google usually takes two to three months to place a new page, and most local searches start well below page one. Watch for keywords that enter the top 100 and then climb.
- Who noticed is waiting for a check: The AI check runs on the 1st of each month, so your first result appears after the next one.
